The story goes like this. In the early beginnings of Dugges, this could have been around 2005 or 2006, they had a brewer who tried to brew the strongest beer he could. That attempt was a 16% ABV Imperial Stout which never saw the light of day. It didn't taste right. Howver, scaling that recipe down, it tasted just fine. Fast forward to 2021, Dugges wanted to reconnect with that ambition of brewing something BIG. So the Mega series was born. They've come full circle!

Dugges was founded in 2005 and one of the OGs of the craft beer movement in Sweden. The brewery was founded by Mikael Dugge Engström and was initially focused on brewing US style craft beers. Over the years they have made a name for themselves with their incredible flavour combinations and superb stouts.
